12 year old Surrey boy, Andrew Manning!

Andrew Manning has been racing slot cars for the past year

in various U.S. cities. Mainly in the southern regions of California.

He does extremely well and has made a proud name

for himself representing Buena Park CA and he

finished 5th, 6th, & 8th! in the finals, a competition of mixed ages racing against seasoned veteran racers of adults in Pennsylvania! During the Canadian American Scale Racing Association National Championships '98 which were held in Souderton Pennsylvania this September 18th to 20th, '98.

Andrew was the ONLY! Canadian representative from B.C.! at this event!!

This event was great exposure for Andrew and for those who chose to support

this Slot Car WONDER with their sponsorship, donations and pledges.

We are thanking the LOCAL community for their support in the form of financial

sponsorship and donations - All proceeds went towards the cost

of the trip, accommodations, food and equipment expenses.

Currently Andrew continues to compete

today and has won many local events in

Aldergrove B.C.
